Milk Morinaga’s School Police Chapter 1 RAWS OUT!

It’s been a while since I made such an exciting hyperactive blog title!

A story of highschool love and friendship between two girls is unfolding! A police action, girls’ love comedy! Thank you anon for providing the raws! Ris of MakiMaki Scanlations is going to edit and scanlate this one. A double treat! Expect reviews from me once scanlations have been provided!

From this day forth, I guess I will be officially using the true title of the manga in Japanese Gakuen Police just to prevent confusion. But I will still post both name titles for benefit and convenience.

Milk Morinaga’s New Manga series – School Police just released!

Milk Morinaga’s New Manga for the latest Comic High magazine has just been released. School Police based on observation (and reading some translations provided by anons), it’s a new different style of character design this time and it is centered in school. Reminds me of  Morinaga’s previous work, The Secret Recipe.

I might give more updates as soon as more information will be released. For now, still waiting for generous people to provide the raws for us.

I really like Morinaga’s new character design. From long blonde and short black hair scheme to a long black hair and blonde pigtails scheme. It’s going to be another head start and a better way to start the season!

On a side note, it seemed that the Yuri mangaka has received an award for her work, Girl Friends. Congratulations Milk Morinaga! It seems your fanbase has not only reached Asia but it also reached France (which the manga volumes are officially translated in French), and other western countries. More to come!

Mayu Saotome – New Vocaloid

Another Vocaloid character has added into our list! This Vocaloid has got the voice and the design to boot! I think this would probably the one of the best Vocaloids released this.

Yesterday, EXIT TUNES released an official demo of Mayu. For some reason,her voice is almost similar to SeeU. If people will listen and find the similarities, I feel that the fanbase would make Mayu as SeeU’s sister or something. I will be updating my info on Mayu from time to time. She got my Vocaloid updates back on track.

Got featured in Asgard Blog

Last February, I was interviewed online by my friend SchoolGirlBlogger. This was for a cosplay interview article which was posted on Asgard last Feb 19, 2012. The questions and the contents of the interview include how I got started into cosplay, how my passion for armored cosplay got started to name a few. Please note that during this interview I was still in-a-relationship at that time. Currently, no more. Just to remove the misconceptions if it arises. xD

On relationships, Otaku, and Lemons

Even otakus fall in love as they say. They are also human beings. But if ever one encounters a certain relationship then it goes downhill, for some odd reason that’s also a time where we seem to know a person’s different ego. A different side that it leads down to an “it all comes down to this” feeling.

I seriously did not make this blog post to name names or to point fingers. I decided to write about this because I am getting pretty tired of hearing the same argument and reasons. Not only that, I don’t want to get absorbed into too much negativity because of people’s faults or actions. Yes, I am a true friend and I stick as a true friend. But if someone tries to abuse it and it gets so redundant, I am sorry but I have to lay my hands down to surrender. My usual sentence is “Don’t come knocking at my door.” I usually say these in my own composed melody to not only express my sarcasm but also to show people how I am already irritated on the types of issues coming up here and there.

Ok, I admit. I was fresh from a break-up. But hey, I am slowly moving on to what’s been happening to me. Three years is just three years. I know it’s going to be a long way for you but I would like to give you a bitchslap that life is hard and it’s a challenge for you. It’s either you move on and strive to be happy or you try to remain a douche all your life moping and crying.

Going back to my discussion, I know that people do crazy things when they are in love. But I just wish people really don’t go overboard.  People nowadays are having wild hormones lately. Well, I cannot blame them. We are in the 21^st Century. There are even some that seemed to be desperate and tends to rush on things. Hey, life’s a journey. Age isn’t a problem anyway too. That person will come to you in time. If your relationship with someone didn’t work out, then move on. A true person or a lover for that matter never gives up hoping in finding that right girl or guy for her.

What really irritates me is that people try to make things bigger and bigger. No matter how much we try to keep a dark secret on the things that we do, they are going to be revealed in a time before you know it. Heed my advice: Get a grip. If you are just using the person to get your own satisfaction and benefit, then sooner or later everything’s going to backfire back at you. I believe in Karma. It’s going to attack you before you even know it.

My final word for this is that guys as what I’ve said life is going to throw you lemons. Of course, you need to make lemonade with it and not throw it back. It’s going to make matters worse. Don’t pretend who you are not. You’re going to fool people that way and in the end, people will tend to fool you in return.  A true person also controls his hormones (Don’t try to act dumb with me! I know you know what I really mean.), and most important of all,  a true person never reacts in revenge. This is reality. A little revenge that we did to people who have done wrong (even if the actions are said to be for good), is a double edged sword. You will be satisfied yes, but for how long?

Heartless Eponine’s 2012 current trend list

After a long long hiatus (seriously, this statement has become very very redundant now. I need to get off it.), I am finally back from the grave. I hope that from here on in, I would finally try to be more updated and give the latest updates possibly everyday.

To some who have asked what exactly happened lately, I am back fresh from a big breakup. Don’t worry. I am fine and still breathing. Honestly, I’m still quite surprised myself why my recovery seemed so very fast. Probably would give credit to my friends, my family, and to a certain someone. 3 years was really something for me but oh well, we really can’t help it. Life’s like that I suppose.

Recently, I was promoted as Moderator for the Online Yuri Community, Yuri-Garden. Please do have time to check on the site! It’s a perfect hangout for all Yuri Lovers.

Another thing here is my real life priorities. Seriously speaking, ever since a certain professor had to fail me due to intimidation over the previous semester, I have been deteriorating bit by bit over the past months. I’ve been slacking off like hell and try to add up all the other stuff like the breakup and my fight with my bestfriend. For now, everything is ok especially with my best bud. :/ I have no particular comment whatsoever about my ex-boyfriend anymore. meh.

Also in addition to that, I have been given the responsibility as the Managing Editor for our College’s School Publication. Tough job and pretty hectic. I am hoping with a little perseverance, I can finally graduate this year or next year.

Officially single, I have been venturing with a lot of “trends” that got me alive and kicking lately. So instead of jotting them all down in a lot of blog posts, I decided to put them all in one setting.

Please take note that this is not in a specific order. Trying to write down everything that I can (still) remember.

1. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd

 

I don’t know about you, but I am part of those people who is officially crazy with this game. Created by CAPCOM, it’s an RPG game in which you hunt monsters, gather items, and create armors. You can quest alone or have a fun adhoc session with friends.

2. Cardfight!! Vanguard

It’s been the latest card game trend lately. I just had my deck thanks to my friend Jake Koyomi. Using Neo Nectars right now. It’s pretty fun and much easier than my previous card game that I played, Yu-Gi-Oh. Still getting the hang of the gameplay.

3. Weiss Schwarz

It is another card game from the same creators as Vanguard. You have anime characters are card sprites and each has its own unique effects and attacks. It’s similar to Vanguard but much more complicated. Still trying to get the hang of the game.

4. Symphogear

 

My current favorite anime. I honestly admit that I have not been active with the latest animes because of the things that have been happening. But hey, I got to say this anime’s just totally epic. My favorite character is Kazanari Tsubasa. I was so in fangirl mode for the past few months because she is just extremely epic. Oh yeah, she is voiced by Nana Mizuki. I don’t want to spoil. Just check it out if you like to see girls singing and kicking evil badass booty.

Vocaloid IA – Imagination Forest

This would probably my most favorite Vocaloid song from IA so far. To those who don’t know. IA is part of new fresh line-up of new Vocaloids out there. If I’m not mistaken, they are particularly in the same batch as SeeU, the Korean Vocaloid.

This song is just on the right balance to the ears. Hope you enjoyed this one. The PV is also nice too. Am I the only one who says that IA here reminds me of a certain Hetalia character? XD

DECO*27 – Long Distance Love Affair

Just a few weeks ago, my boyfriend broke up with me. It lasted for 3 years. I am here in the Philippines while he is in California as of the moment. He left to the US a month before our anniversary. Yeah, it hurt a lot. But because of my love for him, I endured it. I was willing to wait forever for him. I loved him so much and I admit that I was totally immature and imperfect. For now, he still remains in the special part of my heart.

“Kisses and Sighs” ends this month? A new manga series appears!

A news article in ANN had confirmed that Kisses, Sighs, and Cherry Blossom Pink by Milk Morinaga will be ending this month. It is a bit of shocker since the fans expected the series to go in longer same as Morinaga’s other yuri masterpiece, Girl Friends.

But according to ANN, Milk Morinaga will be having a new manga project for Comic High! Magazine within June of this year. Another work to anticipate for.

My comeback — to go against SOPA and PIPA

Hey guys! I’m back again. I have finally returned and I have a little bit of time in my hands to make a little blog post for you.

In the Yuriverse, there is no word for Kisses, Sighs, and Cherry Blossom Pink yet. 4th Chapter raws has not been circulating either. No updates not even in Yamibou. No word from Yurikan Feuille yet either. Will keep you guys updated as soon as possible.

My comeback here in the my blog will be a mix of irony. Why? I’ll be temporarily “gone” on January 18. Why again? I am together with the entire internet community who are against the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect Internet Protocol Act (PIPA).

Guys, I’ve been spreading this like wildfire over the past months and I’m going to say this again: These 2 “Acts” will not help the internet community nor it will not make the internet a better place for everyone. It’s going to make it worse. Once this bill passes, say goodbye to Anime Music Videos, goodbye to online file sharing sites, goodbye online video sharing, goodbye SELF EXPRESSION, goodbye to this blog. It’s that creepy. Don’t be fooled. Believe me. These laws that will be passed in the US Senate will change the entire internet world as we all know it. Now you will be saying that you’re not in the US so there’s no problem right? Wrong!

They still have the power to sue you if you have “violated” something even if you’re outside US borders. It’s as creepy as hell. Many big websites will be shutting down on the 18th of January. If you’re a web administrator or a blogger like me, let’s take a few hours of our time to black out our websites or seize internet activity on January 18 to protest against these Acts. With our power, determination, and the power of the internet community as the whole, I am pretty confident that the SOPA and PIPA law will be down to the dust. Spread and share, Say No, and go against SOPA and PIPA.
